Save a chat

Save a helpful AI answer as a note so you can reuse it later without re-running the conversation.

How it works in the chat UI:

1. Hover over an AI answer in the conversation.
2. Click Save to notes (the document icon).
3. A new note opens with the answer already filled in.
4. Give it a clear title, edit the text if needed, then click Create.

Your note is stored in the current workspace and appears in the Notes list.

Reuse notes as context

Notes are a great way to bring your own insights into a conversation. You can attach them as context so the AI stays aligned with your reasoning.

Two quick ways to attach notes:

1. From the chat input
   • Open the attachment menu above the chat box.
   • Switch to the Notes list, then pick the notes you want.
   • A checkmark shows which notes are already attached.
2. From the Notes list
   • Open Notes in your workspace.
   • Hover a note row and click the chat icon to add it to the current context.
   • Click again to remove it.

Attached notes appear in the context panel and count toward the context limit, so keep only what the AI needs.
