Invite and manage collaborators
Invitation
Section titled “Invitation”The account owner can invite collaborators from Account Settings so they join the correct account with the right role.
- Open the account menu (your avatar in the sidebar) with and select Account Settings.
- Open the Team tab. In Team Members, click to open the invite form.
- Enter the teammate’s email and choose Collaborator or Admin.
- Select Send Invitation.
- Track the invite under Pending Team Invitations, and revoke it if needed.
Each invitation is tied to one email address and expires automatically. If the member limit is reached, the invite control is unavailable until a seat is freed or the plan capacity changes.
Inviting someone who was previously removed creates a fresh invitation. When they accept it, Contradic restores their membership with the role selected in the new invitation.

Account creation
Section titled “Account creation”Recipients should always begin from the link in the invitation email. The invitation page shows the account they are joining and locks the invited email address, which prevents them from accidentally creating a separate organization.
When someone opens the invitation link:
- Check the account name and invited email shown on the page.
- Sign in with an available method, or create a Contradic account on that page if the option is offered.
- If Contradic shows Wrong account, select Sign out and continue, then sign in with the invited email address.
- Select Accept Invitation.
- After acceptance, Contradic switches to the invited account and opens the workspace list.
Do not use the general sign-up page to accept an invitation. If the link is expired or revoked, request a new invitation from the account owner.
Remove or restore a member
Section titled “Remove or restore a member”Removing a member ends their access to the account and its workspaces. Documents and notes they created remain available to the other authorized members, so shared work keeps its authorship history.
To remove a member:
- Open Account Settings and select the Team tab.
- Open the menu beside an active member.
- Select Remove from Team.
- Review the warning and confirm.
The account owner cannot be removed through this action.
To restore access later, send a new invitation to the same email address and choose the role the person should now have. An old accepted invitation cannot restore access.
Workspace access
Section titled “Workspace access”After someone joins the account, a workspace administrator can grant access to individual workspaces and change or revoke it later.
