Use Methods, Expertise, and Outputs

Contradic lets you combine three types of guidance for each message:

• Method guides how Contradic approaches the task, such as a step-by-step analysis. You can use one Method at a time.
• Expertise adds specialized domain knowledge. You can combine several Expertise packs.
• Output shapes how the answer is presented, such as a memo, table, or timeline. You can use one Output at a time.

These resources complement your question and selected sources. They do not replace a clear description of your goal.

Compose guidance in chat

1. Enter your question in the chat input.
2. Select Insert, or type @ or press Ctrl+E to open Methods directly.
3. Choose Method, Expertise, or Output, then search or browse the available resources.
4. Repeat the process to combine a Method, one or more Expertise packs, and an Output.
5. Review the labeled chips above your message. Select the remove control on any chip you do not want to use.
6. Send your message.

Selecting another Method or Output replaces the current selection. Adding Expertise keeps the picker open so you can choose more than one.

Review suggestions before adding them

As you write, Contradic may suggest Expertise related to your message and context. A suggested chip marked Not loaded is only a recommendation and is not used for the answer yet.

• Select Add to include the suggested Expertise.
• Remove the suggestion if it is not relevant.
• Open Expertise from the Insert menu to choose a different pack or filter the list by topic.

A selected Method may also place relevant formats under Suggested in the Output picker. Choose an Output explicitly if you want Contradic to use that format.

Start from the Library

Use the Library when you want to compare available guidance before opening a chat:

1. Open Library from the main navigation.
2. Select the Methods, Expertise, or Outputs tab.
3. Search the Library. In Expertise, use the topic filters to narrow the list.
4. Open a resource to review its purpose, then select Use in chat.
5. Choose a workspace. Contradic opens a new chat with that resource preselected.

You can add the other resource types from the Insert menu before sending your message.
