Personalize My AI

My AI context is reusable background that helps Contradic adapt its answers to your work in one workspace. Save details that you would otherwise repeat in many prompts, such as your role, current mission, perspective, or preferred response style.

Your saved context is private to you. Other members of the workspace have their own My AI context, and your context does not carry over to other workspaces.

Set your My AI context

You do not need to be a workspace administrator to personalize My AI.

1. Open the workspace where you want to use the context.
2. Select Settings in the workspace navigation.
3. Select the My AI context tab. For members who are not administrators, this tab opens by default.
4. Enter up to 1,500 characters in Your context for this workspace.
5. Select Save my context.

Contradic automatically considers the saved context in future AI requests in this workspace. The page displays when it was last updated.

You can also open My AI context directly from a workspace card’s menu.

Choose useful background

Keep the context concise and stable. Include information that should shape many conversations, for example:

• Role: who you represent or what responsibility you have.
• Mission: the outcome you are currently working toward.
• Perspective: the position the AI should understand when analyzing an issue.
• Preferences: the language, level of detail, tone, or answer structure you usually want.

Put instructions that apply only to one task in the chat message instead. Your current request takes priority over saved My AI context.

Keep guidance separate from evidence

My AI context guides the assistant, but it is not a document, note, or cited source. Contradic does not present it as documentary evidence.

• It cannot override safety rules or your access permissions.
• If your context conflicts with workspace documents, Contradic treats it as your position and relies on cited evidence for factual conclusions.
• Add documents, excerpts, or notes to chat when the answer must rely on verifiable source material.

Understand chat context and sources

Update or clear your context

Return to Settings → My AI context whenever your role, mission, or preferences change.

• Edit the text and select Save my context to replace the saved version for this workspace.
• Delete all the text and save to clear it. Confirm the prompt; the context will no longer be used in future requests.
• If the existing context cannot be loaded, select Retry loading before editing. Saving after a load failure requires confirmation because it may replace previously stored text.
